Located on the site of the former Strathclyde Police HQ building in Pitt Street, Moda Holland Park comprises 433 professionally managed homes for rent with associated mixed-use space at street level.

A design that regenerates Pitt Street in Glasgow
Holland Park was designed by Glaswegian architects HAUS Collective and Ryder Architects, who took inspiration from the grid street pattern of Glasgow city centre and incorporated stunning views from a rooftop terrace. The high-quality housing will help rejuvenate the city centre. The outside of the building will be a mix of stone and metal cladding, glazed curtain walling and brick.
Funding partners
The project is Moda's fifth build-to-rent project with funder Apache Capital Partners, also backed by UK Insurer NFU Mutual, and Harrison Street the investment management firm.
Delivering construction on a city centre site
We have delivered the project in a challenging city centre environment. The logistics associated with a constrained city centre development of this scale bring their own complexities which have also been addressed through the Robertson ACD approach. Through close collaboration with our site neighbours, and a shared ethos with Moda to create positive change in what we do, we continue to champion high quality construction which enhances local communities.
Driving social value during construction and beyond
Through construction of the neighbourhood, we significantly boosted employment and skills in the city centre, with 1,226 local people employed on the project. Training was provided to 24 apprentices and another 120 people under the age of 24. Robertson also diverted 100% of site waste away from landfill. During construction, £38m was injected directly into the local economy, £11m of which was spent with SMEs.
As the long-term operator of the neighbourhood, Moda will continue to drive social value and contribute positively to its wider community. Earlier this year, Moda announced a three-year partnership with Glasgow School of Art.
