Elliot RobertsonChief Executive OfficerElliot is CEO of Robertson Group. He has over 30 years' experience in the industry and has formerly held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, Strategic Business Development Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Robertson Homes.
Brian McQuadeChief Operating OfficerBrian brings 30 years’ experience in the industry, having led construction businesses covering the North of the UK as well as companies in Scotland. As C.O.O, Brian plays a key part in the generational change of Robertson.
Irene WilsonGroup Financial DirectorIrene has great experience of our business, having joined the Group in 2004, and moved into her role as Group Financial Director in 2018. Her wealth of knowledge and experience in banking, commercial and financial matters is key to the role. Originally training as a qualified chartered accountant with KPMG, she then held senior financial positions before joining Robertson.
Sir Bill RobertsonExecutive ChairmanBill founded Robertson in Elgin in 1966, and still provides active leadership of the Group today. A past president of the Scottish Builders Federation, Bill was made a CBE in recognition of his services to UK construction. He was knighted for his services to construction and charity in the 2023 New Year's Honours list.
Rob HoltGroup Director – Strategic ServicesRob has spent 35 years in various management and leadership roles, working in the health, education, housing and local authority sectors. He has experience of complex property, facilities management, and PPP contracts, and has both led and built highly talented teams.
Dougie HawkinsChief Executive Officer – NewlandsDougie is an experienced investment partner with an exceptional track record in the venture capital and private equity industries. He brings his skill in leadership, value creation, strategy and planning to the Robertson family of businesses.
Andrew TelferNon-Executive Deputy ChairmanAndrew is a highly experienced senior executive having had a successful career in our industry, with a background in finance and broad and deep experience in construction, property development and senior management. He has carried out many senior executive roles and been a main board director at Willmott Dixon for almost 10 years.

Our construction business consists of eight regional construction enterprises which are strategically positioned around the UK, providing local expertise, insight, and supply chain knowledge for the benefit of our clients and their projects.
We have a broad and diverse portfolio, providing bespoke hard and soft facilities management services for our customers. We maintain and manage buildings across the UK ranging from schools and hospitals to car factories and whisky distilleries.
The Robertson Civil Engineering team supports our nation-wide businesses and has a track record of finding ways to do things better without compromising on quality and deliver high-performance infrastructure no matter the project scale or complexity.
Our Timber Engineering business is a market leader in precision-engineered timber for affordable and luxury housing developments, student accommodation, hotels and construction projects.
We maximise energy efficiency and pre-manufactured value as we drive forward innovative construction techniques.
