Delivering new homes in the communities where they are most needed
Dedicated to delivering high-quality, energy efficient affordable housing in association with local authorities, registered social landlords and registered providers, we support the Scottish Government’s affordable housing programmes as well as building homes for communities in the North East of England.
First established in 2015, our affordable housing business, Robertson Partnership Homes, had delivered over 6000 affordable homes by 2021. Our long-term aim is to provide thousands more to support local needs.
We draw on the diverse capabilities of the wider Robertson Group businesses, with structural timber frames being designed and engineered in house, alongside self-delivered groundworks, render and roofing, and construction.
House types to suit all needs
We have standard product options for land-led development opportunities, ensuring homes are delivered to best value and quality.
Our affordable housing ranges from smaller properties to larger homes or apartment developments, to fit all planning requirements. Selecting our standard product designs ensures you quality, value for money and efficiency.
Long-standing experience with local authorities means that we have the knowledge to ensure developments address local housing needs. And our industry-leading expertise in energy efficient homes means we can support our customers’ decarbonisation and net zero carbon goals.
Getting the most out of local authority land
To get the most out of gap sites, brownfield sites, or other land, our pre-construction team brings extensive design and engineering experience. We develop the optimum affordable housing scheme for each site, maximising the value of your land.
We are experienced in all relevant planning policies and will liaise closely with planners to ensure that we create a scheme that is deliverable. Working alongside local communities and interested parties, we ensure proposals are clearly understood and unnecessary objections are minimised. We fully consult with the local community to address all concerns directly and avoid unnecessary delays later in the process.
