Our civil engineering team has been supporting our nation-wide businesses since 2012. In that time we’ve shown ourselves to be innovative and creative thinkers who find ways to do things better without compromising on quality, and deliver high-performance buildings and infrastructure no matter the project scale or complexity.
During design development for the award-winning, £140m Macallan Distillery, the efficiencies we made to drainage routes and pipework saved £1.5 million. Constructing the £3.6m Cuningar Loop Woodland Park in Glasgow’s East End, the team overcame the challenges of the contaminated site on the banks of the River Clyde and transformed it into a 15-acre park.
Across sectors we’ve made our mark on projects including the £65m Balfour Hospital in Orkney, £7m Halbeath Park & Ride infrastructure, a 16-hectare structural platform for the Energy Park Fife, and the £86m Pennywell urban regeneration project. The plastic road we built at The Events Complex Aberdeen saved three tonnes of waste plastic from landfill or incineration, and was a first for the city.
