Robertson Construction Central West has completed many construction projects in Glasgow including multiple education projects at the city centre universities such as Glasgow Caledonian University and The University of Glasgow.
In the hotel sector, with the construction of both the Moxy Hotel and Marriot Hotel at the SEC in Glasgow.
We are committed to leaving a positive lasting legacy in the community and delivered a series of educational activities linked to our Clyde Court project. We worked with City of Glasgow College to give career talks, CV-building workshops, and mock interview sessions for their Foundation Apprenticeship and Women In Construction classes.
A range of residential developments in Glasgow
Our regeneration business, Urban Union, based at our Robroyston office, has led a series of large-scale, long-term regeneration projects at Laurieston in the Gorbals area, in Pollokshaws, and in Hamiltonhill.
We have over 1500 houses and flats for social rent and private sale having been delivered or underway, we work in partnership with Glasgow City Council, New Gorbals Housing Association and Queens Cross Housing Association to regenerate the city.
Additionally, Robertson has a strong track record with student accommodation developments, having constructed Havannah House, off Duke Street and Clyde Court in the Merchant City.
Civil engineering in Glasgow
Robertson has delivered multiple civil engineering projects across Glasgow.
Green infrastructure in Hamiltonhill forms part of a wider regeneration project in Maryhill by Queens Cross Housing Association. This included five green spaces, such as a community park and garden, a play park and tranquil space – that provides residents with an area of relaxation in the natural environment.
We have been involved in developing and regenerating Cuningar Loop Park since 2016 and created the Melfort Community Park in Clydebank in 2020.
