The Inshes Retail Park project in Inverness was delivered on a live site, where we had to provide continual access to the existing businesses.

The works involved:

• New service access road

• Reconstruction of an existing roundabout

• Working in a live 156-space car park that was part of the site

• SUDS scheme

• Soft and hard landscaping

To construct the new access road and alter the existing one, works were carried out on the existing public roads. This required detailed traffic management plans to be agreed with the retail park to ensure our team didn’t inconvenience daily life. The demolition of two existing retail units, to provide space for three new units, included construction of one retail building and also enabled works for a McDonald’s Restaurant, as well as associated external works.
