Building for the future: key insights from Bertha Park High School
Key facts
- The school has the capacity for 1,100 pupils, including 35 pupils with additional support needs.
- It is one of only 17 schools worldwide – and the only in the UK – selected as a Microsoft Flagship School, using advanced technology to enhance student learning.
- The full site area spans 20,000m2 with facilities including an auditorium, sports hall, gym, full size grass and synthetic football pitches, and multi-use games area.
- The project was procured through the hub East Central Scotland framework, delivered for Perth & Kinross Council and is part of Scotland’s Schools for the Future Programme.

- Education Buildings Scotland 2019 winner of 'Technology: Transforming Learning, Teaching and the Curriculum'.
- Robertson Outstanding Achievement Awards 'Team of the Year' 2019 - the project team showed an incredible level of engagement with our customer and end users.
