Robertson delivers Medium Works and Major Works in partnership with YORbuild.
The framework is for eligible public sector bodies and third sector organisations across the Yorkshire & Humber region, as well as the North East of England, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Leicestershire.

Medium works construction across Yorkshire
Robertson delivers medium-sized projects £4–10m in the YORbuild3 Medium Works framework, which is due to expire in April 2028.
This route to market was created with:
- compliance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015
- rigorous quality checking
- firms appointed on the basis of 40% price / 50% quality / 10% social value
Price assessment based on:
- Tendered fee percentages (overheads and profit)
- Design on-cost
- Schedule of rates for equipment/plant, site accommodation, people
Quality assessment based on:
- Contractors Design (how the contractor will work with clients when design is required)
- Social and Environmental Value (support of YOR4Good fund, Ecological Measures, Employment and Skills )
- Supply chain management (SCM performance and management)
- Framework Management
- Operations Management (relating to individual call off contracts)
YORbuild3 Medium Works projects
Major works construction across Yorkshire
Robertson has a place on the YORbuild Major Works 2 framework, for projects £10–30m, from July 2026 for a four-year period.
YORbuild has historically been the go-to procurement vehicle for regional local authorities, including Leeds City Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The framework has also been widely used by the Department for Education, NHS trusts, universities, colleges and blue-light authorities to procure major construction projects.
Projects will adopt NEC4 and JCT forms and stress modern methods of construction, low-carbon delivery, and local employment initiatives aligned with the Construction Playbook.
