Integrated 3D modelling and collaborative design

Contributing to 3D design and Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, we ensure our timber frame and mass timber solutions are fully co-ordinated within the wider project environment. Through regular, structured clash detection meetings, we act as a proactive and expert member of the collaborative design team.

Our input helps identify and resolve interface risks early, reducing rework, protecting programme certainty, and supporting efficient on-site delivery. By integrating our off-site manufacturing expertise into the digital model, we ensure that designs are both buildable and aligned with project requirements from the outset.

Stringent net zero and Passivhaus standards

Timber systems can achieve U-values as low as 0.11 W/m2K and meet the rigorous standards required for Passivhaus Certified accreditation. We support design teams in achieving these targets through optimised fabric design, performance modelling, and buildable detailing aligned with off-site manufacturing.

Bespoke mass timber systems

Collaborating with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors, we innovate the mass timber solutions of the future, for commercial projects ranging from education and leisure buildings to large‑scale developments. Read about our mass timber solutions here.

Designed to fire guidance

Our designs align with the STA Pattern Book and the 16 Steps to Fire Safety framework. You can trust that we follow robust, industry-standard best practice for both England and Scotland.

Whole-life carbon

One tonne of CO₂e, stored for each m³ of timber – typically 5 tonnes per home. In 2024–25, our frames kept 5650m3 of CO₂ locked away. Supporting design teams’ sustainability requirements, we prepare whole-life carbon assessments using the internationally recognised OneClick LCA tool.

Detailed U-value calculations

A high-performing, thermally efficient frame is key in today’s sustainability-conscious world. We provide full U-value calculations to support SAP assessments, helping you demonstrate that your building fabric is designed to meet performance targets.
