Our projects in Newcastle highlight the extent of our capabilities and work in live hospital environments where the health and safety of staff, patients and visitors is our top priority.

  • Dental Hospital Oral Surgery Department (£1.4m, 6 months): Refurbishment of department including removal of external ACM cladding and installation of specialist M&E including vac and air systems, medical gases and dental chairs.
  • Cav Boiler Plant Works (£480k, 5 months): Replaced two plant rooms including installation of 300m of new main gas pipes, with trench works carried out on live roads.
  • Cherry Burn Ward (£570k, 7 months): Converted former stroke rehabilitation ward into a 1,200 m2 suite of outpatient clinical accommodation, offices, with a new GAIT Laboratory.

Freeman Hospital

  • DSC Plant (£370k, 3 months): Replaced boilers, installing temporary boilers during works to ensure provision.
  • Lift Lobby (£280k, 2 months): Design and refurbishment of level 3 lobby, working through the night to minimise disruption.
  • Junior Doctors Accommodation (£480k, 1 month): Design and conversion of disused hydro pool area into mess area for Junior Doctors.
  • Executive Suite (£270k, 2 months): Refurbishment of high traffic employee area.
  • Data Centre (£480k, 1 month): Design and upgrade of data centre resilience package including power, trenching and cooling.
