The agreement, which includes a one-year extension option, continues the partnership between Robertson Facilities Management and South Tyneside, which was initiated by signing a contract back in 2013.

The renewed contract will also include the added remit of Tyne Metropolitan College, which recently merged with South Tyneside College to become part of Tyne Coast College.

Ian Gibson, managing director at Robertson Facilities Management, said: β€œThe team has worked extremely hard over the past three years to ensure our services have been carried out to the highest standards. These efforts have resulted in a successful tender for both South Tyneside College and its newly merged sites at Tyne Metropolitan College.”

Robertson Facilities Management will deliver hard and soft grounds maintenance and minor works services for seven building across the two campuses.

Robertson Facilities Management – which is an independently owned construction, infrastructure and support services company that employs more than 2,200 people – has recently announced contracts with Costa Coffee, Cleveland Fire Brigade and Yorwaste.
