Robertson Facilities Management (FM), has won a five-year contract with Northumbrian Water Group (NWG).
The contract is to provide building and civils maintenance works, as part of NWG's plan to enhance service delivery to its laboratories, offices, leisure facilities and property portfolio.
The contract is part of NWG's £1 billion plan to maintain top quality water, reduce sewer flooding and protect the environment.
The announcement comes after Robertson FM has won a number of significant contracts this year, as it continues to expand across the UK. The company recently announced contracts with Costa Coffee, Cleveland Fire Brigade and Yorwaste.
Ian Gibson, Managing Director, Robertson FM, said: "We are delighted to have won this contract to bring our expertise in facilities management to Northumbrian Water Group and its customers across north east England.
"The confirmation of this contract highlights our growing reputation as a leading facilities management company as we continue to expand in the North of England, with our recent contracts wins."
Jonny Belmont, Asset Delivery Programme Manager at Northumbrian Water Group, commented: "We continue to invest heavily in our assets, to ensure we maintain the highest possible standards of service to our customers. Having high quality partners with a strong track record of delivering building and civils maintenance works is vital to enabling us to build upon our excellent reputation in the market."
NWG supplies 2.7 million customers in the North East with both water and sewerage services, trading as Northumbrian Water, and 1.8 million customers in the South East with water services, trading as Essex & Suffolk Water.
