Angus Council’s Leader and Senior Officers visit Monifieth Learning Campus as construction nears completion
Angus Council's Leader, Councillor George Meechan and senior officers, visited the new Monifieth Learning Campus site to see the ‘impressive progress’ on the £66.5m project that Robertson Construction Tayside is delivering.

The Monifieth Learning Campus, being constructed next to the current Monifieth High School, has been designed as a modern, inclusive facility to meet the needs of children and young people.
The campus will offer a wide range of high-quality learning environments, including a 25-metre swimming pool, theatre and performance spaces, flexible classrooms, early learning and childcare facilities, and extensive sports amenities.
The Monifieth Learning Campus is part of Phase Two of the national Learning Estate Investment Programme (LEIP), with capital funding provided by Angus Council and revenue support from the Scottish Government upon completion.

Construction began in May 2023 and remains on schedule to open to young people in August 2025 and within budget. The campus is being built by Robertson Construction Tayside through Procurement Hub’s Major Projects Framework 2.
