Phase 1 of the regeneration of Hamiltonhill

600

homes

5

parks

4

phases

Enabling works have started at our Hamiltonhill site, one of Glasgow's key regeneration areas, where we are delivering a new housing development for Queens Cross Housing Association.

In addition to the 177 social housing units being constructed in Phase 1, Urban Union will build a further 26 houses for sale. The homes are a mix of medium-rise flats and cottage flats for smaller households, and terraced housing for larger families. The entire development will deliver over 600 mixed-tenure homes over four phases, with five parks and a community garden.

We are delighted to work with Robertson to deliver our Hamiltonhill transformation. We have been working with the local community and Glasgow City Council to create a sustainable plan for the area and we are now at the stage to start delivering on our proposals. We will continue to work closely with local residents to ensure they are at the centre of the regeneration process at Hamiltonhill.
Shona Stephen
Chief Executive, Queens Cross Housing Association

Extensive community consultation took place to help shape the masterplan, with a focus group from the local community playing a key part in the planning process and provision of open space.
