10 George Street refurbishment

Robertson redeveloped 10 George Street for Sampension KP, creating rare Grade A office space in one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious office and retail locations.

Robertson carried out a major refurbishment of the existing property and constructed two new upper levels. The project included new curtain walling incorporating sandstone and glass, a full central plant replacement and extended floorplates adding nearly 7,000 sq ft of new space.

Complete with high-quality finishes, the building provides 67,000 sq ft of premium office space across ground and six floors, an impressive double height entrance and reception space, and roof terraces at three levels with panoramic views across the city.

The project was a winner in the Refurbished/Recycled Workplace category at the British Council for Offices (BCO) Awards Scotland 2020.
