Robertson recognises its supply chain at Outstanding Contribution Awards

Leaders from across Robertson put forward partners from who have demonstrated outstanding performance and contribution. Following a thorough judging process by the Robertson Group Board and supply chain team, eight winners were selected.

Careys received the Outstanding Performance in Health & Safety Award (sponsored by Gap Group), recognising its exceptional health and safety standards on some challenging projects. Ensuring everyone goes home safe every day is number one priority for Robertson, and Careys’ approach reflects that commitment.

JGM won the Contribution to Social Value Award, sponsored by Kingdom Timber Engineering, for its work across apprenticeships, vocational education, community projects and charitable initiatives, creating opportunities for local people and supporting construction skills development in Tayside.

For the second time, FES took home the Excellence through Collaboration Award, sponsored by Wernick Hire. In a busy category, its open, professional and collaborative approach stood out.

The Sustainable Trailblazer Award, sponsored by Tri-Fix, went to Think Hire in recognition of its commitment to more sustainable project delivery. Its efficient plant and equipment solutions help project teams reduce waste, improve resource utilisation and minimise environmental impact.

Njordair was named winner of the Innovation Award, sponsored by CCF, for delivering a first-of-its-kind solution on a live hospital roof replacement project in Bolton. Its bespoke inflatable weather protection system replaced traditional scaffolding and sheeting, reducing costs, accelerating the programme and allowing critical hospital services to remain operational throughout the works.

The Environmental Best Practice Award, sponsored by Bunzl Greenham, was presented to Thompsons of Prudhoe for its continued commitment to pollution prevention, resource efficiency and carbon reduction. 

In the Subcontractor (SME) Award, sponsored by Saint-Gobain, IDS Electrical was recognised for its exceptional performance across more than 20 live Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rewiring projects for RFM.

The Subcontractor (Large) Award, sponsored by Edmundson Electrical, went to Hewitson. The company was recognised for its strong focus on safety, sustainability and collaboration on projects, spanning live operational environments, healthcare and major research developments.
