Robertson recognised in Considerate Constructor Scheme Awards

Robertson Group and Robertson Residential Group have won a total of 21 awards following this year’s announcement

Robertson Group and Robertson Residential Group have won a total of 21 awards following this year's announcement of the most considerate construction sites in the UK.

In addition, Inverness Justice Centre, procured through Scape Major Works for Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service has been recognised as the 'Most Considerate Site' in the £10 – £25m category.

Team Robertson joined a virtual awards ceremony jointly hosted by Elliot Robertson and John Low, CEO's of Robertson Group and Robertson Residential Group.

Elliot Robertson, said: "We are extremely proud of all our teams who gained recognition at the 2020 CCS Awards for the work that they do. This year has been challenging for our industry as we continue to work under Safe Operating Procedures through the Coronavirus pandemic, but our teams are rising to the challenge of keeping themselves and our stakeholders safe."

The Considerate Constructor Scheme aims to improve the image of construction, and sites are scored against a set criteria.

John Low, commented: "All of our teams work to incredibly high standards every day, and these project sites represent the best of the best. The construction sector has faced some difficulties in the last six months due to the on-going threat of Coronavirus, so it was great to be able to bring these teams together virtually for a moment of celebration.

The project at Inverness Justice Centre was praised by CCS for its community engagement, work placements, the support of local charities and the protection the environment.
