Robertson becomes a supporter of Prince Charles’ ‘Terra Carta’

Robertson has reinforced its commitment to assuring a sustainable future as it becomes a supporter of the ‘Terra Carta’, part of the HRH The Prince of Wales’ Sustainable Markets Initiative.

The 'Terra Carta's' recovery plan has Nature, People and Planet at its core and sets out a roadmap for businesses to build a productive and sustainable future which aligns with the 2030 Responsible Business targets Robertson set out in late 2020.

Robertson was one of the first UK businesses in the built environment to achieve carbon neutrality and was recently recognised by the UN Climate Neutral Now programme. The company will continue to build further upon the progress it has already made which supports the actions set out within the 'Terra Carta'.

Elliot Robertson, CEO, Robertson Group, said: "As a signatory of the 'Terra Carta' we are demonstrating our commitment to the environment alongside likeminded organisations.

"Being a Responsible Business is intertwined in all we do, and our 2030 vision is centered around three key themes; Our People, Our Partners and Our Planet. By 2030 we will enhance the lives of others, positively contribute towards communities and become a 'climate positive' business.

"Supporting the 'Terra Carta' further illustrates our desire to assure a sustainable future."

The 'Terra Carta' was launched in January 2021, along with an urgent appeal from HRH The Prince of Wales's to private sector leaders to give their support to the 'Earth charter', and currently has 275 supporters worldwide from a variety of industries.
