Creating a modern, accessible workspace
Robertson Yorkshire & East Midlands transformed its office environment with a full refurbishment and fit-out of premises at 2B Park Square, Sheffield. The project delivers a contemporary, collaborative space designed to support growth, wellbeing, and sustainability.
The previous office was split across two floors, lacked accessibility, and offered limited meeting and desk space. With only two meeting rooms and minimal hot-desking options, the space no longer met the needs of our growing team.
Delivering a comprehensive solution
We created an open-plan layout for accessibility and social interaction and introduced flexible workspaces with permanent desks and hot-desking options. Three acoustic booths were installed for Teams calls and small meetings, alongside collaborative meeting spaces for design sessions. Wellbeing areas, including a lounge and dining space, were included in the refurbished space. To support sustainability, four 22kW EV charging points were installed.
Overcoming challenges with innovation
The refurbishment involved demolition and installation of partitions, M&E upgrades, new ventilation systems, decoration, and furniture fit-out. A key challenge was power capacity for EV chargers and AC units. Our team worked closely with the business park to install a new supply, ensuring the office met all operational needs without compromise.

The new office provides a modern, accessible workspace for 38 desks, enhanced collaboration through flexible meeting spaces, improved staff wellbeing with dedicated social areas, and sustainability benefits with EV charging infrastructure.
