INNSIDE Hotel, Newcastle

Robertson has delivered a new four-star 161-bedroom INNSIDE Hotel, that is operated by Melia Hotels & Resorts Group, one of the largest hospitality companies in the world.

The project for Union Property Developments transforms the site of a disused commercial building that has been largely vacant since 2011.

The seven-storey structure, designed by architects FaulknerBrowns, accommodates 161-bedrooms and facilities including a restaurant/bar, fitness centre and meeting spaces, and an 'open living lounge' with bar and restaurant for non-residents. An on-site carpark and landscaping complete the project.

The hotel is operated under Melia Hotels' INNSIDE hospitality brand and supports 80 jobs in the area.

Robertson has an extensive portfolio of hospitality projects in the UK with both major brands and independent hotels, including Premier Inn, Travelodge, Moxy and Hilton.
