Summer internship

Use your summer to get ahead with a paid internship programme. 

You’ll gain a real feel for what it’s like to work at Robertson and in our industry. Which helps you decide exactly where you want your career to go after university.

Start date: June 2024 – roles are advertised from October to end November with interviews in January and February. 

Duration: 12 weeks.

Typical roles: quantity surveyor, site manager, civil engineer and business support.

Description: A structured development programme with on-the-job training and three development days with fellow interns.

You'll be ideally placed to continue your development on our graduate programme. Where possible, we’ll offer you the chance to work with us during your final year at university. Similarly, if you return to university, we hope to be in a position to offer you a role for the following year, after you graduate.

There were multiple interesting projects on the go during my internship that I was able to get involved in. I helped check construction drawings and visited sites to inspect the work carried out by subcontractors. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel part of the team.
