Graeme Cameron went Back to the Floor as Maintenance Engineer on one of our multi-site public sector contracts in the West of Scotland. Graeme was looking forward to seeing how this contract, which began last year, is operating, and how the services that we provide positively impact up the customer and building users.

Graeme worked with the team on a range of tasks including plant room inspections, relamping and moving floor boxes. Then later in the afternoon, they moved to another site and he assisted with assembling and dismantling scaffolding.

Graeme said: "Going Back to the Floor is a fantastic way to understand how our business operates."

Working with our maintenance engineers gave me a real insight into the work they carry out on a daily basis. Our success in the FM marketplace is shaped by the service provided by our frontline staff, these skilled professionals are working, often behind the scenes, to ensure our clients facilities are safe and comfortable. They play an integral role in creating positive customer experiences.

– Graeme Cameron, Operations Director, Robertson Facilities Management

"My session gave me the opportunity to share ideas and experiences, reflect on our achievements,  and to celebrate our successes. I found it to be hugely beneficial and I look forward to getting involved again in the future."
