Robertson Facilities Management Legionella compliance

Robertson Facilities Management provides services to control the risks associated with legionella bacteria throughout Scotland and the north of England.

All commercial buildings have water systems that can provide the conditions for the bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ disease. Effectively controlling and monitoring these systems and thorough legionella risk assessments will prevent Legionella bacteria.

It is a legal requirement for all commercial companies to comply with the Health & Safety Executive’s Approved Code of Practice and Guidance on regulations (L8) regarding the prevention and control of the Legionella bacteria in water systems to protect anyone using their building, whether that is customers, students or employees.

Our Legionella control services include on-site domestic hot and cold water monitoring and maintenance regimes, cleaning and disinfection of domestic water systems, legionella risk assessments for domestic hot and cold water systems and microbiological laboratory services. All microbiological analyses are performed by UKAS approved laboratories.
