Robertson Construction has delivered high-quality beauty therapy, makeup artistry and hairdressing facilities for the students of Dundee and Angus college; providing a diverse range of courses that allows them to gain professional qualifications.
A modern teaching facility
Dundee and Angus College were looking for a modern educational facility to provide a diverse range of courses which can lead to professional qualifications in ever-evolving industries.
Phases 1 and 2 was the demolition of the tower block to make way for the new development. Phases 3 and 4 included the creation of new training restaurants, social spaces and the hair and beauty facilities. Phase 5 is development of the new lecture theatre.
The facilities were required to match those of a real salon, so students can have the best training and support possible before going out into the industry.
Privacy curtains have been added to beauty therapy areas for added security for students.
