Working in close partnership with Perth & Kinross Council, Robertson Capital Projects, as one of the private sector partners in hub East Central Scotland has delivered a brand new £9.6m primary school in Crieff.
The new school was built on a greenfield site on Broich Road, next to Strathearn Community Campus. Completed in the summer of 2015, this school was one of the first to be delivered by hub East Central Scotland for Perth & Kinross Council.
The two-storey, 4,000m2 school has an integrated nursery, a gymnasium, sports pitches, a MUGA (multi-use games area) and a playground. Biomass boilers have been installed for heat and hot water, which helps reduce the carbon footprint of the new school.
Delivered on time and on budget by hub East Central Scotland, the school was built by BAM Construction to designs by Holmes Miller. The new facility ties in perfectly with Crieff Primary School’s own aims: to promote care of the environment and provide children with opportunities to make a difference in their local community.
