Working with our advisory and supply chain partners, Robertson provides public sector bodies with the insight and support needed to move towards net zero.

We deliver large-scale green infrastructure projects including feasibility works, funding solutions, project development, technical assistance, supply chain delivery, heat networks and smart power systems.

We assess and design energy systems to improve the operational efficiency of our customer's estate, saving money and reducing carbon footprint.

How we do it

Monitoring and targeting

Using the Robertson Energy Management portal, customers can monitor and extract detailed reports on building performance month by month. With consumption vs baseline period data, energy savings and the effectiveness of our energy improvement measures are clear and quantified.

Public sector decarbonisation projects

We have helped customers to successfully apply for grant funding from the first two phases of the Public Sector Decarbonisation scheme, helping them invest in ‘category 1’ decarbonisation measures, such as heat pumps. We also helped to secure funding from the Low Carbon Skills Fund, boosting organisations’ expertise to assess their estate and scope out the feasibility of further decarbonisation steps such as glazing, insulation, lighting and solar power.

Decarbonisation case studies

Our experience includes the installation and operation of biomass boilers at over 30 schools, extensive LED lighting and BMS upgrades across hospital estates, and the delivery of all-encompassing energy management strategies on behalf of universities and local authorities.
