Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre is a community hospital and resource centre developed to allow privacy, dignity, choice, equality, diversity and safety for patient groups in primary care. Extensive inpatient and outpatient clinical accommodation with combined private treatment and consultation areas are provided. Key departments include a Day Care Centre, Therapy Centre, Consulting and Outpatients rooms; Mobile X-ray to Casualty; and Casualty to the Out-of-hours Consultations. The development provides a key link between primary care and acute hospital services through the provision of intermediate care services.
