Seven year extension to relationship with Teesside University

Robertson has retained its facilities management contract with Teesside University after extending its service delivery agreement.

Under the new contract for a further seven years until 2026, Robertson will continue to carry out soft facilities management, security and catering services at a number of university buildings, including Fusion Hive in Stockton and the Centre for Professional and Executive Development in Darlington.

The business will also provide support to the National Horizons Centre in Darlington – a new building to the Teesside portfolio, which will provide industry-focused education and training and collaborative research to the biosciences industry.

"The team has worked extremely hard over the past five years to ensure our services have been carried out to the highest standards and to build such a strong partnership relationship with our customer," said Operations Director Jon Oxley.

"These efforts have resulted in a successful extension of our contract with Teesside University."

Darren Vipond, director of campus services at Teesside University, added: "We are delighted to extend our partnership with Robertson and look forward to continuing to work with them.

"In particular the National Horizons Centre will be an important addition to our Darlington campus and will play a major role in helping to grow the economy of the Tees Valley and beyond."
