Learners complete the ‘Premier League Core Enterprise Programme’ which is a flexible, interactive course that engages, inspires and unlocks learners' potential, introduces learners to business and entrepreneurship and helps them develop essential enterprise and employability skills.

Alongside the core programme participants will take part in a number of "Meaningful Encounter" days.

We held our 'Getting to know Robertson' session at the Forge, which is part of the Teesside University contract, and it was a success. It was an opportunity for students to speak with a variety of staff members from different departments. Participants learn about the skills and traits necessary to work in facilities management and hear first-hand about the different roles and opportunities that are available within our business.

We have set a "real life enterprise challenge/scenario" – this tests the learners on their enterprise skills and gives them an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and ideas. Students from each school will team up with kitchen staff to design and deliver their own unique spin on school dinners which they will serve up to fellow students. Teams will then be marked for effort on taste, presentation and service. We will total up the figures to see which team is crowned the winner of the Kitchen Takeover Challenge!
