Joint-venture consortium South Shore Developments Ltd staged a topping-out ceremony to mark a crucial phase in the development of a new £45million office development at Gateshead Quays.

Representatives from partners Robertson Property and City & Northern attended the event alongside contractors Carillion on Wednesday December 12.

Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) has commenced service provision on two long-term contracts in the education and primary healthcare sectors.

The company, which has a turnover of £10 million and directly employs over 280 people, is now on-site at Woodlands Primary School in Carnoustie and Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow’s west-end.

Robertson Education has reached financial close with Angus Council on a £50million schools PPP project.

The project will see the delivery of six new and improved primary schools for the Angus area including three for Forfar and three for Carnoustie, plus an extension to Carnoustie High School.
