Top school tops out

The Glasgow Academy held a topping-out ceremony today, Friday December 15, to mark a key phase in the development of its new Preparatory School.

The event, conducted by retiring prep-school Head, Mrs Helen Fortune, was staged to mark the completion of the structural concrete frame on the £7million project.

Robertson Timberkit sign supply deal

Robertson Timberkit has signed a valuable supply deal with Woodbridge Timber.

The Suffolk-based timber-trader will now supply Robertson Timberkit with Canadian Lumber Standard (CLS). The raw material is a core product in the manufacture of timberframe buildings.

Robertson Timberkit is one of ten companies that make up the Robertson Group.

Robertson FM secures landmark contract

Robertson FM has been appointed preferred bidder to provide FM services in the £200million Newcastle Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project.

The deal has been secured as part of the Aura consortium that includes Robertson Capital Projects, Sir Robert McAlpine and Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Eco-friendly energy system to heat 130 homes in Aviemore

Work is well underway on an Eco-friendly energy system that will produce heat for 130 homes in Aviemore.

The Bio-mass heating system will use carbon-free woodchip from local forestry and sawmills to provide a sustainable and affordable alternative to traditional carbon-producing heating systems.
