Andrew Scullion, Community Contract Manager, went back to the Floor as a Community Leisure Attendant at one of our education sites in Hull. For World FM Day, our management connected with front-line employees to see how they enable positive customer experiences.
The team work evenings and weekends to ensure the facilities are at the heart of the local community.
Working closely with Supervisor, Joanne and Deputy Supervisor, Shannon, his first job was to set up a room for the table tennis club, he then helped to tidy up the gym and ensure it was ready for the next users. He then went to the studio to set up for a dance class and ensured the pitch was ready for 6-a-side football.
I know we have a passionate and dedicated team delivering community use and they deal with members of the public so customer service is key.
"It was great to go and get involved, it’s a really varied and interesting role, Also, it is fast-paced – it involves setting up and dismantling equipment. I really enjoyed my Back to the Floor session – working closely with my operational team will help me in my day to day job and ensure that Robertson Communities becomes more forward-thinking and adaptable.”
